• Lead and execute advanced monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial statements.
• Prepare, review, and analyze complex financial reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations to management.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance with GAAP and company standards.
• Serve as a primary contact for internal and external audits, coordinating audit activities and addressing auditor inquiries.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency across the finance function.
• Mentor and train Staff Accountants and other team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
• Collaborate with operations, IT, and other departments on special projects, system implementations, and business initiatives.
• Research and resolve complex accounting issues, staying current on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
• Leverage advanced knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, Concur, etc.) to optimize financial workflows and reporting.
• Balance multiple priorities, communicate proactively, and consistently meet critical deadlines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred).
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, Concur).
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, solve problems, and present findings to leadership.
• Experience supporting audits and implementing process improvements.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to integrity, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work on-site at our Nashville headquarters and complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.
